Edith Cowan Racing is the newest, most exciting Formula SAE team in Australia!

ECR is made up of nine dedicated Engineering students who all study the new Bachelor of Technology (Motorsports) degree at Edith Cowan University in Joondalup. The Formula SAE program is integral to the Motorsports Degree as it gives students a chance to design and build the racecars they study in an environment that simulates an engineering workplace. The School of Engineering and Mathematics at Edith Cowan University Joondalup is investing heavily in the new Motorsports Degree and already has one of the most well-equipped Workshops in Western Australia, and several race-hardened lecturers.

ECR is the only team in Australia that is made up of students who exclusively study Motorsports. This gives us an enormous advantage over other teams, where students must split their time between their degree and the FSAE project. At ECR we are completely dedicated to this project ,and hope to build a first-class team that will become one of the world's leading non-profit student race teams.
